Un paisaje degradado, testigo de la obsolescencia.
Lugares de los que nadie habla pero que han estado allí cruzando y demarcando
el territorio desde siempre. En este trabajo la caminata, el registro y la
memoria permiten a Ignacio Traverso poner en juego un lugar dentro de otro
lugar, un tipo de paisaje residual, marginado y despojado. Traerlo a la
memoria, como una suerte de viaje en el que lo biográfico se fragmenta y
ensambla a la manera de un collage.
iN SITU es una
síntesis de un trabajo que prioriza la vivencia y la reflexión, la biografía
por sobre lo propiamente plástico, la memoria se vuelve estética a la luz de
este paisaje, de las caminatas a lo largo de este canal, en busca de algo que
descomprima el recuerdo, de algo que suspenda el momento, y que haga palpable
el devenir neutralizando el pensamiento y la acción. Son presentados aquí
ciertos fragmentos y ciertos puntos de vista, perspectivas que se conjugan y se
vuelven a colocar en movimiento en la ciudad. Un fragmento de algo que parece
volver, de algo invisible que ha estado ciertamente presente, un fragmento de
una otredad urbana contaminada y restringida, flujos que nos recuerdan a su vez
otros flujos similares; migratorios, de género, de trayectorias desiguales y
polivalentes.
In
Situ es una instalación y video arte proyectada para Galería Callejera, que reflexiona
de manera subjetiva (poética) sobre crecer y vivir en estos sectores
periféricos de la ciudad de Santiago. EL Zanjón de la aguada actúa como
protagonista en este particular paisaje, a través de una estética “marginal”
que dejará en evidencia la experiencia de vivir en este sector. Este
trabajo pretende crear una mirada nostálgica y autobiográfica donde historia,
estética marginal y periferia conforman su matriz.

A degraded landscape, witness of obsolescence.
Places that nobody talks about but have been crossing and demarcating the
territory since ever. In this work the walk, the record and the memory allows
Ignacio Traverso to bring into play a place inside another place, a type of
residual landscape, marginalized and stripped. Bring it to memory, as a sort of
trip in which the biographical fragments and assembles in the manner of a
collage.
iN SITU is a synthesis of a work that prioritizes the experience and reflection,
the biography over the properly plastic, the memory becomes aesthetic to the
light of this landscape to the walks along this channel, looking for something
that decompresses the memory, something that suspends the moment, and that
makes palpable the turning neutralizing the thoughts and the actions. Here are
presented some fragments and certain points of view, perspectives that are
conjugated and are put back into motion in the city. .A fragment of something
that seems to come back, something invisible that has certainly been present, a
fragment of a polluted and restricted urban otherness, flows that reminds us of
other similar flows; migratory, gender, unequal and multi-purpose trajectories.
In Situ is an installation and video art which reflects in a subjective
way (poetic) about growing up and living in these peripheral sectors of the
city of Santiago. The “Zanjón de la Aguada” acts as protagonist in this
particular landscape, through a "marginal" aesthetic that will leave
in evidence the experience of living in this place. This work aims to create a
nostalgic and autobiographical look where history, marginal aesthetics and
periphery make up its matrix.
